Every network interruption risked compromising service levels, inflating phone bill costs from mobile tethering and delaying critical placement processes.

The Challenge

Recurring half-day outages on Tradestaff's legacy network not only disrupted business operations but also forced staff to rely on costly mobile hotspots, driving up telephony expenses and eroding productivity. Their relationship with the incumbent provider had grown strained, marked by slow support response times and an opaque escalation process.

Facing both financial penalties and reputational risk, Tradestaff sought a networking partner who could guarantee high-availability connectivity and deliver a transparent and responsive service.

The Solution

Cello initiated a detailed discovery process with Tradestaff's branch managers and consultants, mapping daily workflows, peak traffic patterns and critical application dependencies to understand exactly what "always-on" connectivity meant for their business.

We then designed and deployed a resilient SD-WAN solution at each location, pairing high-speed primary circuits with secondary broadband and automatic 4G LTE failover to mask any upstream interruptions.

An enterprise-grade SD-WAN controller applies dynamic traffic-shaping rules that prioritise the candidate-management CRM and VoIP/video calls, while next-generation firewalls and intrusion-detection systems protect sensitive recruitment data.

The phased implementation ran with minimal disruption to day-to-day branch operations, and Tradestaff's IT staff received hands-on training plus direct access to Cello's 24/7 Network Operations Centre for ongoing monitoring and support.
